This thing almost looks like it could be an energy blade that made it through the Reset! The entire shape and design of it is evocative of Runehawk manatech. That thing looks like it's made of hard light. The wing-like adornment on the handle is very Runehawk-y but even moreso than with the other two, the blade is the main focus here. The Runehawk scythe looks by far the most technological of them, which is incredibly appropriate. Several of the elements of the handle design also feel evocative of a sort of knightly aesthetic, matching to Wolfblade's whole Honourable Warrior thing. ![]() The Wolfblade scythe has the blocky, armour-esque shapes that Wolfblade favours and the blade is shaped like an axe. What are those now but ceremonies and rituals, lost to the ruins of time?Īlso I adore how the personalities of each of the Houses have been incorporated into the scythes!! It's not just the colour schemes, the designs of the handles draw heavily on the aesthetics of the house uniforms and mechs. GEARS and the Entrance Exam and the Houses and the House Initiations and the GEARS Games. Like? "Once used in ceremonies and rituals lost to ruins"? We know that must be in reference to something in the post-Reset version of the timeline, it has to be, because these weapons didn't exist prior to the Reset but it is nonetheless giving me feelings bc just. Yes!! Please let Hawkscry have MQ related stuff!! There are so many hints and they keep building up!!Īnd I am having so many feelings about these weapons!!! Saw the DF house scythes and immediately scampered over to you!! please let Hawkscry have MQ related content!! please!!Īslfjh, I am flattered you immediately came to me XD That's more of a headcanon than anything though. We don't know what DW and The Mage were up to back then after all (and Warlic is old af, this could have been centuries before the events of MQ), so maybe they went on a mission abroad and that's how they got in contact with Kordana?Ĭould also theorize that DW and S-0 had an inside joke between them that resulted in DW nicknaming The Mage Cysero, but who really knows. Maybe that's why Kordana knows he would remember her. Idk, some kind of sentient autopilot system. But he definitely spent enough time in it to build it into A UNIVERSE SAVE FILE, so hey. And we never really hear of The Mage before the finale, so we don't know how much time he spent in it. Well, Dean Warlic knew Sys-zero, dare I say they may have been friends. Way past the occasional fourth wall break to remind the Hero to read the name above the dialogue box.Ī literal diety recognizes him as another higher being (listen I know Zeuster is weird but he counts as a diety in my eyes).īut how much power would it take for something to backup the universe? At that point, no sky could ever hope to limit you! And what would happen if that something with such immense power had to turn into a someone? Knows things that a normal person shouldn't. He does things that shouldn't be possible. The Mage was used to backup the entire universe.Ĭysero is weird. I feel like that would make more sense if, well, yknow. "A mage?! Oh, I see! What a clever idea!" If you were encased in crystal and far adrift, how would you be to know that your sibling had not been destroyed but simply knocked offline? Exactly! You wouldn't! I rest my caseĪnyone remember the Kordana quest in the Wind Orb saga? And how she basically implied that Cysero was a starship?Īm I wrong in thinking that Cysero was The Mage (Dean Warlic's starship)? Because iirc Sys-zero's starship was the Reliant, and I mean, I HAD DRIFTED BEYOND OUT OF THE SYSTEM BY THAT TIME." "ONE DRAGONOID WAS CAUGHT IN THE EXPLOSION AND DESTROYED. MYALOS REMEMBERS BEING CAUGHT IN AN EXPLOSION AND A MISSION "NOT FAILED, BUT SIMPLY ENDED" (There was no winner in this war)ĪND WHAT DID THE OTHER DRAGONOID TELL US AGAIN? ![]() Remember what Myalos tells us of their few memories? Why bring this up, you ask? BECAUSE MYALOS, THAT'S WHY. Five in crystal, left adrift, and one caught in the destruction of the Ligeia system. That's the fates of six of the ten dragonoids accounted for. Dragonoid: One Dragonoid was caught in the explosion and destroyed. They were only able to crystallize five of us. Dragonoid: They still couldn't defeat us. Our forces pushed the Shadowscythe back to the border of their galaxy. What I want to look at here is a few specific pieces of information: Dragonoid: There were ten dragonoids total. Okay so this is what the Dragonoid in the crystal tells us (I'm 98% sure said dragonoid had a name but it is almost four am and I can't remember it or where to find it) about the dragonoids: so I went to check my numbers for that last post and.
